Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi of the United Arab Emirates won the first FEI Class of the CSI3* Samorin week in Slovakia, dominating €24,600 Respect.
With a jump-off round designed by Belgian Luc Musette, rider Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi completed one of the two double clear round that animated the class, getting a time of 46.61 seconds with the 12-year-old mare Cha Cha Cha 7 (Chacco-Blue x Quick Star).
The result allowed Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi to secure 50 World Ranking Points and to overcome the German rider Angelique Rüsen with her 11-year-old gelding Reavnir (Moosbends Ricardos x Rombach), who completed their jump-off spot in 47.91 seconds to signify the second and last double clear round.
They followed in the final order Romain Lavigne of France in third place with the 14-year-old stallion Pharaon Belle Menee (Tresor du Renom x Notion II) registering 4 fouls in 48.06 seconds, fourth place was for Filippo Codecasa of Italy next to the 12-year-old gelding Go High della Bassnella (Go on Top x Laptop) with 4 fouls in 57.15 seconds and fifth place a triple draw when they did not return to the tiebreaker between Frenchmen Robin Muhr and Max Thirouin and American rider Jennifer Gates.
Also for the Pan-American Ranking take points the US rider Chloe Reid with the 10-year-old gelding TNT Explosive (Tinka’s Boy x Calypso II) to finished in 16th place in a regular round of 8 fouls. For the Latino Ranking only Brazilian rider Luiz Felipe de Azevedo Filho participated, completing his regular round with 12 fouls along with the 11-year-old mare Berdina (Untouchable x Naturel) occupying the 28th place.
