The second week of activities at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington was stellar class with the $130,000 Mary Rena Murphy CSI3* Grand Prix and the victory of US rider Alex Granato.

On course designed by Portuguese Bernardo Costa Cabral, the jump-off round was decided when Alex Granato and 9-year-old gelding Carlchen W (Chacco-Blue x Continue) owned by Page Tredennick, stopped the clock in 41.73 seconds to secure 100 World Ranking points with first position, in what has been just the second chance of Granato with Carlchen W in FEI classes and also the second FEI victory for the rider.

For second place US Aaron Vale, the biggest and record man with more Grand Prix winner in a season at United States, fought with 11-year-old gelding Finou 4 (For Pleasure x Concetto) to complete his course in 42.36 seconds, while third place was occupied by another American rider Michael Morrissey accompanied by 9-year-old mare Chance Ste. Hermelle (Calvaro x Hemmingway) with a time of 43.45 seconds.

The representation of Latino Ranking had two stellar figures with performances of the Mexican Santiago Lambre and Argentinean Ignacio Maurin. In case of Santiago Lambre, who has had two really productive weeks in Kentucky, finished in fourth place with 9-year-old gelding Dingeman (Nintender x Darnels) in time of 43.60 seconds to take 60 FEI Ranking points and Ignacio Maurin who finished in sixth place, took 50 World Ranking points with 13-year-old stallion Thriller P (Cardento x Lucky Light), being the penultimate double clear round of the night in 45.69 seconds.
