The weeks CSI 5* and CSI 3* in Al Shaqab, Doha began with the speed class to a height of 1.45m, in field designed by Frank Rothenberger for 25 pairs and victory of Ali Al Khorafi.

Introduced with the 10-year-old mare Cheril (1053 Guidam Sohn x Centgraf) owned by Kuwait Riding Center, Al Khorafi completed his speed round in 56.88 seconds to earn 50 FEI Ranking points, being escorted in second and third place by representatives of Qatar’s Mubarak Yousuf AS Al Rumaihi and Nasser Al Ghazali, who completed their respective fields in 57.60 seconds and 57.70 seconds, with 15-year-old gelding Vivaldi K (Indoctro x Nimmerdor) for Al Rumaihi and with 17-yearold mare Delloren (Drosselklang II x Acord II) to Al Ghazali.

For the Latin Ranking Colombian Andrés Peñalosa was presented with 10-year-old gelding Tenor de Rouhet (Jumpy des Fontaines x Alligator Fontaine) owned by Pelliccione Pierfrancesco, getting a good round of 60.20 seconds to finish sixth and take 25 World Ranking points.
