Ali Ramsay raises with the $86,000 Grand Prix Phase 3 Caledon Cup.

Canadian rider Ali Ramsay raced home with the $86,000 Grand Prix Phase 3 Caledon Cup of the Canadian Show Jumping Tournament CSI2*.

As the third and final Phase of the CSI2* Caledon Cup, 25-year-old Ali Ramsay led her 10-year-old mare Hermelien VD Hooghoeve (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Thunder van de Zuuthoeve), straight to victory in the jump-off completing her round in 40.76 seconds.

Adding 80 World Ranking Points with its result, world number 340 Ali Ramsay returned as the eighth in order to the course designed by Mexican Oscar Soberon to mark an unbeatable time and surpassing Isabella Lapierre with her 10-year-old mare Cescha M (Diamoant de Semilly x Calando IV), who completed their route in 41.47 seconds.

Leading the rest of the ranking rides, Erynn Ballard’s take third place with the 12-year-old stallion Royale du Rouet (Jeff D’or x Kannan) in 45.31 seconds and the Millar’s Family was in charge of the remaining Top 5 posts, where ten-time Canadian Olympic team Ian Millar with 9-year-old gelding Vittorio 8 (Valentino DDH x Ramiro’s Bube) finished fourth and his daughter Amy Millar, also a Canadian Olympic team member, finished fifth with the 10-year-old gelding Heros (Canadian River x Clinton I).
