Belgian rider Ann Carton Grootjans won a major home victory during the €25,000 Prijs Ashford Farm dispute.

The world number 279 Ann Carton Grootjans recorded their second 2017 FEI win, after completing a jump-off round in 42.77 seconds with the 12-year-old mare Funk Music (Vigo D’arsouilles x Goliath Z) and surpassing by 40 hundredths second Swedish rider Jonna Ekberg, who appeared with the 8-year-old mare Dolitaire Chavannaise (Cicero Z x Voltaire) recording a time of 43.17 seconds.

For third place the American and representative of the Pan American Ranking Alise Oken got a time of 45.61 seconds with the 8-year-old mare Elina (Carambole x Coriano), securing 40 FEI Ranking Points, while completing until fifth place, the last two double clear round with the Irishman Jack Dodd in fourth place alongside the 8-year-old mare Lillebebegaards Am Aflair (Amarone x First Flair R) in 46.54 seconds and fifth Gilbert Beckmann of Germany with the 8-year-old stallion Pikeur Lord Fauntleroy (Lord Pezi x Contendro I) in 47.60 seconds.

For the Latino Ranking Mauricio Ruiz of Colombia got World Ranking Points completing his jump-off round in 4 fouls and 45.83 seconds to take ninth place with the 9-year-old Dakota Stakkato (Wolkenstein II). Out of the points were the Brazilian riders Adir Abreu Juniro in the 21st position, Pedro Veniss in 5 fouls was 41st and Cassio Rivetti with 8 fouls was 54th.

 

Final Results
