Mexican rider Arturo Parada took a tight victory in the second FEI class of the CSI2* Country Club Guadalajara, settle the jump-off round.
The course designed by Benjamin Fernandez Gonzalez had a total of 49 pairs encouraging the regular round, then give way to the jump-off with 14 riders led by Arturo Parada and his 13-year-old stallion Cornet’s Dream (Cornet Obolensky x Cordobes I), who was awarded 50 World Ranking Points with an advantage of 23 hundredth of a second.
Although the fight was centered in the first two positions, Arturo Parada was able to keep distance before his fellowman Antonio Maurer with the 10-year-old mare Chacstara 2 (Chacco-Blue x Dobel’s Cento), finishing in 40.92 seconds and third place and also Mexican rider Jaime Azcárraga, finished in 42.37 seconds with the 16-year-old stallion Matador (Indoctro x Corland).
The last double clear round of the class was for Spanish rider Paola Amibilia occupying the fourth place with the 11-year-old stallion Tarzan de Flandre (Calvaro Z x Souveniens Toi III) in 44.39 seconds, while the Top 5 was completed by Arturo Parada himself with his second horse classified to the jump-off, being his time of 39.69 seconds with 4 fouls accompanied by the 14-year-old stallion Constar (Contendro I x Waldstar XX).
On Sunday, the CSI2* Country Club Guadalajara week will conclude in the Audi Scappino Grand Prix and Triple Crown dispute.
