The second competition of Global Champions League was won by Cannes Stars led by German couple Ludger Beerbaum and Marco Kutscher, who finished their days of competition in tow clear classes.
Being the new modality for the GCL, Cannes Stars secured €26,432 with the victory, presenting Ludger Beerbaum with 14-year-old mare Chiara (Contender x 222), while Marco Kutscher did with 11-year-old gelding Clenur (Carine x OS ), which now accumulate 74 points to climb to fifth position in the general order.
Second place Harrie Smolders of Netherlands and Eric Lamaze of Canada, representing Hamburg Diamonds, who also counted for the first competition by American rider Audrey Coulter, being their total for the two days of 4 fouls, totaling 81 points that maintains there in second place of the general classification.
For third place Cascais Charms composed by Philip Houston and David Will (winner of this same class Massimo Dutti) finished with 8 fastest faults, now representing to them a total of 47 points, but although they improve positions, remain distant in the 12th position.
After four sleeve at Global Champions League, Valkenswaard United remains at top of the standings with 88 points, despite finishing this week in 8th place with Alberto Zorzi (ITA) and Marco Kutscher (GER).
