Four-time US Olympic medalist Beezie Madden shines at the $35,000 Accumulator Salamander Hotel & Resorts in Lexington.
Completing the first 11 riders classified with the same amount of 65 points in their accumulated, Beezie Madden guided the group on course designed by Canadian Michel Vaillancourt and recording a time of 47.62 seconds, which would be 19 hundredths of a second faster than Laura Kraut.
In clear domination on the part of the home riders, Beezie Madden with the 8-year-old stallion HHS Hercules owned by Abigail Wexner completed her presentation to assure 50 World Ranking Points with its victory and to overcome the four times Olympic medalist to the two times Olympic medalist Laura Kraut, who completed her round in 47.81 seconds with the 14-year-old mare Whitney (Indoctro x Concorde).
For third place Devin Ryan accompanied by the 10-year-old gelding Cooper (Unaniem x Baloubet Du Rouet) got a time of 48.03 seconds, while he cut in fourth place the American runner Richie Moloney of Ireland, appearing with the 10-year-old stallion Ypaja Yando (Quinar x Lasino) in 49.23 seconds, being fifth American rider Lauren Tisbo with her 13-year-old stallion Mr Visto (Levisto x Ariadus) in 49.38 seconds.
Equally it managed to culminate within the riders with 65 accumulated points world number 2 McLain Ward of the United States of America, but its time was slower in 53.15 seconds with the 10-year-old stallion Cartouche to finish ninth.
