US Olympic medalist Beezie Madden headed straight to victory by setting the way at € 25,000 Stawag-Prize.
Being the speed class, Beezie Madden secured 50 World Ranking Points with her victory with the 11-year-old stallion Breitling LS (Quintero x Accord II) owned by Abigail Wexner, stopping the clock in 66.01 seconds.
Registering her fifth 2017 FEI win, Beezie Madden came from winning last month with the same horse at Spruce Meadows, but today opened the second day of CHIO Aachen and taking a lead by 2.58 seconds, which is back for world number 36 to climb positions.
For the second place the German rider Felix Hassmann finished his route in 68.59 seconds with the 14-year-old stallion Balzaci (Balou du Rouet x Landadel), while the world number 17 American Laura Kraut was working with the 14-year-old mare Whitney (Indoctro x Concorde) to completed her route in 69.86 seconds in third place.
Fourth place went to Swiss Olympic gold medalist Steve Guerdat in 70.44 seconds accompanied by the 9-year-old mare Ulysse des Forets (Col Canto x Le Tot de Semilly).
For the Latino Ranking Eduardo Menezes of Brazil was fifth to take 30 FEI Ranking Points, marking a time of 70.56 seconds with the always fast 13-year-old mare Caruschka 2 (Caspar x Continue).
