Britain’s Ben Maher take a comfortable victory at the beginning of second day at CSI5* ILHS Lausanne, dominating the International Jumping Rider’s Club.
The class presented by Dec Group was realized in two phases and securing its first victory of the week for Ben Maher with the 10-year-old mare Tipsy du Terral (Toulon x Quat’sous) owned by Poden Farms, with which the British took 50 World Ranking Points in time of 28.55 seconds.
For second place Dutchman Maikel van der Vleuten recorded a time of 30.26 seconds with the 9-year-old mare Dana Blue (Mr. Blue x Hemmingway), followed in third place by Martin Fuchs of Switzerland with his 8-year-old mare Girl BZ (Canturano x Berlin) in 30.99 seconds and completed the Top 5 Harrie Smolders of the Netherlands in fourth place with 13-year-old gelding Zinius (Reve x Kannan Nabab) in 31.13 seconds, while Frenchman Simon Delestre took the fifth place in 31.24 seconds accompanied by 11-year-old gelding Gain Line (Stolzenberg x Raphael).
For the Latino Ranking Colombian rider Carlos Lopez was ranked seventh, completing his course in 31.62 seconds with the 9-year-old mare Ulhane de Conde (Jarnac x Corland) and Brazilian rider Luiz Felipe de Azevedo Filho followed in eighth place next to the 11-year-old mare Berdina (Untouchable x Naturel) in 31.95 seconds.
On this occasion world number 1 Kent Farrington and best seeded of the class that distributed €30,000 obtained the 16th place next to the 10-year-old gelding Dublin (Cobra x Calido), completed the last clear round in double phase at 38.04 seconds.
