A memorable day for Chilean Bernardo Naveillan who got his first FEI victory and it was in a Grand Prix, when he got a 2-second lead in his jump-off round, against Belgian rider Fabienne Daigneux-Lange.
With only 114 World Ranking points accumulated, Naveillan achieved the best result of his career during the contest of the CSI 2* Sunshine Tour 2017 Grand Prix at a height of 1.45m, when accompanied by the 9-year-old mare Up To Date Dodville to completed his court in 37.58 seconds and earning 50 FEI Ranking points plus 6,150 Euros for the first place.
The Top three places were completed by Fabienne Daigneux-Lange of Belgium in 39.75 seconds with the 12-year-old mare Venue D’Fees Des Hazalles in second position and Italian Alberto Zorzi with 9-year-old mare Danique, stopped the clock in 39.86 seconds.
For the Latin Ranking led by the Chilean Bernardo Naveillan and his great victory, only accompanied him the Mexican Jose Alfredo Hernandez Ortega adding World Ranking points in the 15th place with the 16-year-old gelding Grupo Prom Jack, exceeding the time of the regular round and penalized with 1 foul. Out of the points were the Argentine Jose Maria Larocca in place 28th, Caio Carvalho Filho of Brazil in 34th position and his fellowman Pedro Veniss of 37th, followed in 38th place by the Chilean Tomas Couve and Nicolas Toro Linares of Colombia ended in 42nd in a group of 49 pairs.
