Last year Bertram Allen took the three cars delivered in the week CSI 4* of Stockholm, a situation that seems to repeat, after winning yesterday in the Volkswagen Cup and today dominated the Swedish Grand Prix presented by H&M, thus adding his second car in two days, both class won with 12-year-old mare Molly Malone V (Kannan x Cavalier) owned by Ballywalter Farms.
Again with the participation of 18 pairs on pitch designed by Peter Lundström, the Grand Prix was decided in double round, being the tour of the Irishman Bertram Allen, the only double clear of the competition. On the other hand the Swiss rider Janika Sprunger escorted her in the second position with the 10-year-old mare Bonne Chance CW (Baloubet du Rouet x Cambridge 8) owned by Dufour Stables Ag & Sprunger Hansueli, getting rounds of 1 foul and the other clear round, totaling 1 foul in 39.35 seconds.
For the third place the Italian Piergiorgio Bucci obtained rounds similar to those of the Swiss representative, but was short with time and completed his two rounds in 1 foul and 39.55 seconds with the 12-year-old stallion Casallo Z (Casall x Carthago Z ) owned by Stal Bucci – Giardini San Rocco Srl. The group of top five finishers were placed in fourth with Geir Gulliksen of Norway with 1 foul in 42.99 seconds and fifth place for Karin Martinsen of Sweden with 5 fouls in 40.23 Seconds.
