Irish rider Bertram Allen dominated the Big Tour D of the XXII Sunshine Tour 2017, completing his jump-off in 38.03 seconds with the 9-year-old mare Dino W (Berlin x L’Amour Z) to surpass by 35 cents of seconds to its closest follower and to accredit 50 World Ranking points.

Being 67 the pairs that participated for the regular round, a total of 15 returned to decide the winner, but they would have to be conformed in escorting to the faster rider of the 2014 World Equestrian Games, being the second position for Ugo Berrittela of Belgium with the 10-year-old mare Cavaluna Z (Crown Z x Galant de la Cour) in 38.38 seconds and third place ended the Dutchman Eric van der Vleuten with 13-year-old gelding Zigali PS (Kigali x Palfrenier) in 40,45 seconds.

With respect to the Latin Ranking the most outstanding was Carlos Lopez of Colombia when finishing his route in 4 faults and a time very close to the winner in 38.13 seconds with 10-year-old mare Cuplandra (Upgrade x Metall), to be located in the ninth place. They also participated, but are out of the FEI Ranking points Dayro Arroyave of Colombia in the 21st place with 4 fouls, Tomás Couve de Chile in box 38th with accumulated 6 fouls and Pedro Veniss of Brazil with 13 fouls in a distant 58th position.
