Closing first day of competitions at CSI 5* Al Shaqab and the most fastest rider at 2014 WEG Bertram Allen, took the victory to complete on speed court a time of 57.70 seconds. The young Irish star held the highest honors in Doha, for a class that distributed 92,000 Euros with the participation of 41 pairs.
Demonstrating once again his great qualities as the most fastest rider in the world, Allen with 13-year-old mare Molly Malone V (Kannan x Cavalier) managed the victory that reported 100 FEI Ranking points, achieving a lead of 34 hundredths of a second The Frenchman Roger Yves Bost “Bosty”, who presented with 13-year-old stallion Qoud’Coeur de La Loge (La Loge’s Ideal – Tenor de La Cour).
In a very tight end with a difference of 1 second between the first and sixth place of the final order, Switzerland’s Pius Schwizer finished in third place with Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet vs. Couleur-Rubin) in time of 58.06 seconds. Fourth in 58.16 seconds the winner of the previous class Abdelkebir Ouaddar of Morocco and Quickly of Kreisker (Diamond of Semilla x Laudanum), followed in the fifth place by Frenchman Kevin Staut with Elky van het Indihof Hdc (Toulon x Thunder Vd Zuuthoeve) in 58.48 seconds, while the sixth place was German World number 3 Christian Ahlmann in 58.81 seconds with Caribis Z (Caritano x Canabis Z).
