The German rider Christian Alhmann added his fifth consecutive month as the best rider in the World with a total of 3076 points, although good results were scarce, managed to win the World Cup in Stuttgart and a second place in the same CSI 5* week, helping him to stay at the top of the FEI World Ranking.

Now with a difference of 41 points, Ahlmann keeps a very close distance to former world No. 1 Simon Delestre of France who now accumulates 3035 points, but ended the month with a second, two third and a fifth place, being the first and the last result, those that gave him good digits to shorten the advantage. In the case of Delestre he excelled in the CSI 5* Doha and in the CSI 5*-W Verona.

To highlight among the Top 10 in the world to the German Daniel Deusser, who managed to climb 2 positions from the fifth to the third, same luck but unlike the American McLain Ward ran down from third to fifth and his compatriot US Kent Farrington, kept the fourth place in the classification. Posts 6th to 9th were unchanged, with Canadian Eric Lamaze, followed by Marcus Ehning from Germany, Kevin Staut and Penelope Leprevost from France.

Olympic medalist Steve Guerdat of Switzerland was up one place to close the Top 10 of the World Ranking.
