Christoffer Lindenberg of Denmark won at second day of the CSI2* Oliva Nova in Spain, dominating the €24,600 Gold 4 – 2Ph 1.45m.
Completing its two phases in 32.05 seconds, Christoffer Lindenberg with the 12-year-old gelding Appy Cara (Guidam x Casco) owned by Horse One Aps & Equestrian Production, passed a group of 73 pairs on course designed by Werner Deeg of Germany.
Securing Christoffer Lindenberg 50 World Ranking points with his victory, he surpassed the Irish rider Greg Patrick Broderick with his 10-year-old gelding Chinook II (Verdi x Little Rock), who finished his journey in 32.21 seconds and third place Chloe Winchester of Great Britain, completed her field in 32.51 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Billy Cool (Billy Congo x Kannan).
They followed in the final order to complete the Top 5 rider Jamie Wingrove of Great Britain in fourth place, appearing with the 11-year-old gelding Bart VI (Lord Z x Levantos) and marking a time of 32.71 seconds, while the fifth place was South African Govett Triggol with 11-year-old mare Wolke 334 (Quinar x Acord II) in 33.03 seconds.
By the Latino Ranking the best located was Caio Carvalho Filho of Brazil, occupying the 19th place with the 11-year-old mare Sun Flower du Theil (Allegreto x Quidam of Revel), totaling in his two phases in 8 faults and 36.03 seconds.
Turning to the rest of Pan American Rankings, neither did the World Ranking points with Paris Sellon of the United States finish in 26th next to the 10-year-old gelding Towngead Chinton (Contendro I x Acord II) and her compatriot Emily Short had the same fate in exceeding the time at first phase and being both penalized with 1 fault, Short being presented with the 10-year-old gelding Trianon du Rozel (Ok du Rozel).
