Irish Conor Swail repeated for second FEI event in a row at CSI3* Langley at Canada, winning the $35,000 Steel-Craft Door Products Cup.
With a perfect week to date, Conor Swail added his second victory in a row with the 12-year-old mare Flower (Bon Ami x Randel Z) owned by Vanessa Mannix and Conor Swail, recording a time of 38.70 seconds in the jump-off.
Adding 50 World Ranking Points again, Conor Swail has proved his solidity and will undoubtedly become one of the most effective riders for his country in the last 5 years. For second place American rider Mandy Porter was close to the victory, after completing her course in 39.32 seconds with the 12-year-old Coral Reef Follow me II (For Pleasure x Sandro), while the home rider Ben Asselin completing the last time under the 40-second barrier without knockdowns, accompanied by the 11-year-old mare Wahrhaftige CR (Clearway x Coronado).
Of the 61 pairs that started the regular round on course designed by Irishman Alan Wade, the top five finishers were fourth place Lauren Crooks of the United States in 41.04 seconds with the 9-year-old mare Columbcille de Reve (Hermes de Reve x Errigal Flight) and fifth place the Canadian Vanessa Mannix with the 11-year-old stallion Grand Cru vd Vijf Eiken (Contact van de Heffinck x Heartbreaker) in 41.12 seconds.
Eugenio Garza from Mexico participated by Latino Ranking, but he did not qualify for the jump-off round with 17 riders nor did he score World Ranking Points, being his result of 4 fouls and 76.12 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Armani Sl Z (Asca Z x Cumano) to fill the 21st place.
