Dutch rider Daan Van Geel guided the Rabobank Stad in Midden Groningen Grand Prix, to take a one-two by home riders.
The class consisting of 46 pairs had a decisive tiebreaker round with 7 classified rider, where Daan Van Geel commanded the one-two for Holland with his 10-year-old gelding Djam (Canturano x Carthago Z), in what was the 56th Internationaal Indoor Concours Hippique Groningen Edition.
Complete the jump-off round in 37.19 seconds on part of Daan Van Geel, the winner assured 50 World Ranking Points and overtook his fellowman Albert Zoer with his 11-year-old gelding Heechhiem’s Cancun Vdm (Balou du Rouet Z x Karandasj), who recorded a jump-off time of 37.48 seconds.
For third place Martin Dinesen Neergaard of Denmark cut the domine from home riders, completing his route in 37.77 seconds with the 10-year-old gelding Cannary (Caretino x Lavall I), while the Dutch occupied from fourth to eighth place, but the Top 5 was completed by Jur Briefing with the 9-year-old stallion Etoulon Vdl (Toulon x Calvados) in 38.08 seconds and fifth with 4 faults and 38.49 seconds Mareille Van Geel-Schroder with the 9-year-old gelding Enjoy (Ukato x Sam R).
