The second week of activities in the CSI 2* Classic at Palgrave Phase II of a total of five weeks in which the calendar is divided for this 2017 at Caledon, Canada, had as conclusion the victory and total dominion on part of Irish rider Daniel Coyle.

With a jump-off round of 8 pairs qualify in the $86,000 CSI2* Jumper Classic presented by Case IH and a course designed by Mexican Manuel Esparza, Daniel Coyle was first and second place with his strong showing, marking an unbeatable time of 36.85 seconds with 9-year-old mare Tienna (For Pleasure x Polydox) for first place, which allowed him to add 80 World Ranking Points and for second recording a time of 40.23 seconds, he achieved with 10-year-old gelding Dillinger (Contender x Capitol I), both horses owned by Susan and Ariel Grange, but was another horse in the jump-off with 22-year-old rider that finishing fifth in time of 37.60 seconds, which would have given him the first three positions if not take down a pole.

The last double clear round of the afternoon was for home rider Jonathon Millar, recording a time of 40.81 seconds accompanied by 9-year-old gelding Daveau (Zento x Glennridge), while fourth place with best time of the tiebreaker was American rider Andy Kocher with 16-year-old gelding Navalo de Poheton (Cumano x Double Espoir), finished with four fouls in 36.45 seconds.

The winner of the last week Grand Prix “Captain Canada” Ian Millar, finished in ninth place with 9-year-old gelding Vittorio 8 (Valentino DDH x Ramiro’s Bube), not getting his pass to jump-off, after exceeding the agreed time being penalized with 1 foul.
