The closing of the CSI3* Ottawa International Horse Show had the Irish rider Daniel Coyle, showing signs of their big progress by being one-two.
With the participation of 22 pairs on the course designed by Anthony D’Ambrosio, new Irish international figure of Show Jumping Daniel Coyle emphatically completed the $35,000 AECON Jumper Classic his two jump-off rounds, after getting the first place with the 9-year-old mare Tienna (For Pleasure x Polydox) owned by Susan & Ariel Grange, recording a time of 37.50 seconds, beating himself and his previous time of 38.78 seconds with the 11-year-old stallion Grafton (Calvaro x Vondeen).
The comfortable victory for Daniel Coyle earned him 50 World Ranking Points and exceeded the 10-times Canadian Olympic team Ian Millar, who this time was almost 5 seconds behind the first place, completing his jump-off in 42.09 seconds with the 9-year-old gelding Vittorio 8 (Valentino DDH x Ramiro’s Bube). They followed in the final order until the fifth place and completed the double clear round Hayde Moffatt in fourth place with time of 42.16 seconds and also Canadian rider Amy Millar was fifth with time of 43,77 seconds.
Carlos Hernando Ramirez from Colombia was the best representative of the Latino Ranking, finished tenth with the fastest 4-foul regular round with the 10-year-old stallion Happy Wandor van’t Roosakker (Wandor van de Mispelaere x V Cento), being his second class in a row that managed to add FEI Ranking Points.
