German rider Daniel Deusser took the victory of €25,000 The Levy Restaurants Snowman Stakes, returning to the winning streak.
The course designed by Brazilian Guilherme Jorge for 33 pairs, was the stage for the second day of the CSI5* Olympia Horse Show and the victory of former World Ranking leader Daniel Deusser, marking an advantage of 3 hundredths of a second.
Counting with Two Rounds the class in dispute, Daniel Deusser next to the 10-year-old gelding SX Hidalgo VG (Quadrillo x Andiamo) owned by Stephex Stables, stopped the clock in 42.32 seconds to ensure 50 World Ranking points and overcome the French rider Olivier Roberts accompanied by the 8-year-old gelding Vivaldi des Meneaux (Chippendale Z x Bamako), who finished in 42.35 seconds.
For third place Harrie Smolders from Holland did the same with the 13-year-old gelding Zinius (Reve x Kannan Nabab) in 42.47 seconds, fourth place was taken by British rider Amanda Derbyshire with her 9-year-old mare Luibanta BH (Luidam x Abantos) in 46.62 seconds and fifth place represented the last clear round was Olympic medalist and former World Ranking leader Scott Brash of Great Britain with the 8-year-old gelding Hello Mr President (Comme d’Api Jr) in 49.58 seconds.
The best seed and world number 3 Kevin Staut of France, ranked seventh in 4 fouls and 43.15 seconds with the 9-year-old mare S&L Through Teh Looking Glas (Arkan x Hairos).
For the Pan American Ranking Laura Kraut of the United States of America only participated in the first round with the 11-year-old gelding Deauville S (Diamant de Semilly x Lux Z), as they knocked down a fence to finish 17th.
