Closing the week at the CSI3* Offenburg and badenclassic with clear dominance of Daniel Deusser, winner of the last two FEI rounds arranged on the calendar, including the Grand Prize AG Südwestbank delivering a car to the winner.
Deusser world number 10 managed to score important points in World Ranking the last two days with resounding victories, becoming certainly the master of Offenburg and beating competition compatriot Johannes Ehnning and Swiss rider Janika Sprunger.
The winner is presented with the 11-years-old gelding Toulago (Toulon x Carthago) owned by Karin Haber & Stephex Stables to complete their jump-off court in time of 34.09 seconds, followed by another German Johannes Ehning and Salvador V (Calvados x Voltaire) a 17-years-old gelding of 17 years owned by Nybor Pferde GmbH & Co.Kg which marked a time of 35.15 seconds.
For the third Janika Sprunger tries to stay close in the fight for the vehicle in dispute, but ultimately complete its journey tiebreaker in 36.54 seconds with 15-years-old gelding Uptown Boy (Odermus R x Joost) owned by Dufour Stables Ag, to complete the last double clear of the night Dutchman Frank Schuttert in time of 36.77 seconds with 10-years-old gelding Go Easy Muze (Vigo d’Arsouilles x for Pleasure).
To end the top five German Tobias Schwarz occupy that post with the first course of 4 faults in the jump-off and time of 35.46 seconds with 11-years-old mare La Belle J (Limbus x Cantus). Big names and favorites in the Grand Prix failed this time with the victory were the Swiss Pius Schwizer winner in the first two days, Britain’s Michael Whitaker, German Marcus Ehning and Dutch World Champion Jeroen Dubbeldam.
