Former world leader and current world number 16 Daniel Deusser of Germany was reunited with the victory to take the Rikstoto GP in Oslo.
As part of the CSI5*-W Kingsland Oslo Horse Show, today Daniel Deusser shone in the jump-off round with the 9-year-old stallion Tobago Z (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve x Mr Blue) owned by Stephex Stables & Jonas Bellemans, to add 100 World Ranking Points with its result.
Being the first of three double clear round to finish the class consisting of 44 pairs, Daniel Deusser recorded a time of 43.00 seconds to taking an advantage of only 8 hundredths of seconds to Finnish rider Juulian Jyläs with her 9-year-old mare Courage TZ (Zang x Calvino Z) and third place was held by Shane Breen of Ireland, representing the last double clear round of the Grand Prix with the 10-year-old stallion Laith (Lord Z x Weinberg) in 43.39 seconds.
The top five finishers was completed by Gregory Wathelet of Belgium in fourth place getting the fastest jump-off time in 38.78 seconds, but their 4 fouls with the 12-year-old gelding Forlap (Querlybet Hero x Heartbreaker) left him without a chance. For fifth place Alberto Zorzi of Italy accumulated the same 4 fouls in 42.66 seconds with the 9-year-old mare Danique (Zento x Hamlet).
For the Latino Ranking stood out his former leader Marlon Modolo Zanotelli of Brazil getting the second fastest 4 fouls regular round in 66.08 seconds, accompanied by the 13-year-old gelding Extra van Essene (Diamant de Semilly x Gotthardsen) owned by Victoria Vargas D’Agostino. Likewise and forming part of the Pan American Ranking Chloe Reid of the United States it totalized 8 fouls with the 10-year-old stallion Comarco (Darco x Orame), occupying 23rd place.
