The German rider David Will continues his good performance streak for the second consecutive week and certainly remains inspired in Abu Dhabi to take the victory in the Mother of Nations Grand Prix Qualifier that distributed €24,600.
Accompanied again by the 17-year-old mare Mic Mac Du Tillar (Cruising x Galoubet A) owned by Bernadette Lejeune, A. Augustsson & Dietmar Gugler, the winner added 50 World Ranking Points commanding the jump-off in time of 35.34 seconds, a result that would give him a hung advantage over his closest rival.
For the second place the Russian Vladimir Tuganov obtained the second course with double clear more faster in 39.88 seconds, being distanced by almost 5 seconds with the 11-year-old mare Sinfonie 168 (Satisfaction I x Don Juan), but its result allowed keep with 45 FEI Ranking Points, meanwhile the Frenchman Fréderic David who won the previous class, finished third with 13-year-old gelding Ecuador van’t Roosakker (Nabab de Reve x Chin Chin) registering 41.68 seconds.
By the Latin and Pan Am delegation the Colombian Andrés Peñalosa managed to finish within the best 16th, allowing him to add World Ranking Points in the 14th place by completing his regular round in 4 faults and 80.39 seconds with the 10-year-old gelding Tintin de La Pomme (Seed Diamant x For Pleasure). On the other hand the Puerto Rican Maria Victoria Perez did not get the effectiveness of the last Sunday Grand Prix and demolished 3 poles with the 11-year-old mare Quitana 11 (Quick Star x Lucky Lionell) totaling 12 faults in 71.94 seconds to finished in 18th place.
