Closing the third date of Basel CSI5* and emotions could not be less, when for the second consecutive competition the time differences between the top were less than one second, to compete for the Prize of the Grand Hotel Les Rois Tris at a height of 1.50m and 50 points for the winner to World Ranking.

After the court so complicated from the start witnessed 53 pairs in the regular round of which 11 would be retired during their performances, only 9 of them would return to the jump-off to ultimately give way to 6 double clear headed by the new winner Denis Lynch from Ireland with 16-years-old gelding Abbervail van het Dingeshof (Nonstop x Jus de Pomme) owned by Thomas Straumann.

 

The difference being just 77 hundredths of a second in the top four places in the competition, Lynch would take just aspirations to the public view a winner for the first time this week to one of their representatives, where slate marked a time of 33.17 seconds, to beat by 13 hundredths of second Swiss Romain Duguet and 9-year-old mare TwentyTwo des Biches (Mylord Carthago * HN SF x Kalor du Bocage) competing their jump-off faultless in 33.33 seconds.

 

The third and fourth place for the removal of the attendees not marred face performances Lynch and Duguet, the third position was for the Belgian Jerome Guery and the horse Grand Cru van de Rosenberg (Malito de Reves x Heartbreaker 89.4335) a 10-yaers-old gelding owned by the rider stopping the clock at 33.59 seconds, while Frenchman Roger Yves Bost “Bosty” which ranked fourth, was presented with the horse Pegase du Murier (Adelfos x Le Tot de Semilly) a 13-years-old stallion owned by Equiblue – et Eurl Bosty to complete competitors were within 33 seconds with a time of 33.95 seconds.

 

Latino Ranking leader and sole representative in the class of PAEC Ranking Marlon Módolo Zanotelli from Brazil was part of the long list of 11 retired during the regular round.
