Turkish rider Derin Demirsoy led the way in the €25,000 Banki & Sohn Trophy, to take the second win of the week in Austria.
Being the second class and again speed as an evaluation factor on course designed by Austrian Franz Madl, the Turkish rider Derin Demirsoy with the 14-year-old gelding Dadjak ter Puttenen (Toulon x Vanitas) owned by Turkish Equestrian Federation, show the way and stopped the clock in 57.93 seconds taking the victory and with it 50 World Ranking points.
Beating two of the favorites class, Derin Demirsoy was ahead of German rider Hans-Dieter Dreher with his 9-year-old mare Berlinda (Berlin x Gento) completing the course in 58.34 seconds and third place Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski of Poland recorded a time of 59.89 seconds with the 8-year-old gelding Silver Shine (Califax x Balou du Rouet).
For the fourth place Marcel Marschall of Germany completed the field in 61.13 seconds accompanied by the 9-year-old gelding Cassius van de Smis (Cardento x Skippy II) and closed the Top 5 Emeric George of France with the 12-year-old gelding Rocker d’Ysieux (Crown Z x Royal Feu) in fifth place with time of 62.48 seconds.
This Pan American Ranking rider Andrew Kocher of the United States of America managed to add World Ranking points, after completing his journey in 4 fouls and 62.34 seconds with the 13-year-old stallion Quarto Mail (Cardento x Alligator Fontaine) occupying the 12th place.
