Dermott Lennon dominates the CSI 3* Grand Prix in Vilamoura.

The conclusion of the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour in Portugal was carried out with the CSI 3* Grand Prix dominated by the Irishman Dermott Lennon. Playing with 12-year-old mare Fleur IV (Chatman x Darco) owned by Rebecca Mcgoldrick completed their tiebreaker in 39.39 seconds.

The result allowed the winner to take 50 World Ranking points and €6,250 while second place went to Phillip Spivey of Great Britain, recording a time of 40.19 seconds and clear round with 9-year-old mare Darya I Nur (Diamant of Semilly x Demonstrator). The fight remained closed to fourth place when Charlote Verhagen of the Netherlands completed his course in 40.25 seconds with 12-year-old gelding Abache HL (Cantos x Lux) to take third place while Irish Anthony Condon finished in fourth place scoring 40.43 seconds on 11-year-old gelding Balzac (Oklund x Frisbee Kerellec).

For the Latin Ranking they were able to add World Ranking points with their results Brazilians Cassio Rivetti and Luiz Felipe de Azevedo. For Rivetti who finished 13th, he completed his course in 4 fouls for the regular round with 9-year-old stallion Ut Majeur de Brecey (Diamant de Semilly x Quouglof Rouge), while de Azevedo finished in box 16th with 11-year-old stallion Chacito (Chacco-Blue x Daimler) accumulating 5 fouls. Out of the points were Felipe Ramos Guinato in the 20th position and Chilean Bernardo Naveillan followed him in the 28th position.
