The penultimate day of the CSI5* Sopot in Poland continued with the dispute of the Cosmopolitan Trophy and the victory in speed class for Dutch rider Doron Kuipers.
With 62 pairs, the winner took 50 World Ranking Points where Doron Kuipers stopped the clock in 61.30 seconds with the 10-year-old gelding Theoreme du Desir (Calvaro x Laudanum) owned by Wrenwood Stables & Jim Papp, keeping the distance on Pal Flam of Norway, who completed his tour in 62.11 seconds with the 14-year-old gelding Skjerabergs Larkin (Ladiesdream x Centauer Z) owned by Stall GP AS, occupying the second place.
The Pan American Ranking´s representatives had an outstanding performance, where the American riders Reed Kessler and Laura Kraut took third and fourth place, recording a time of 63.18 seconds for Reed Kessler with the 14-year-old gelding Cos I Can (Olympic Lux x Harlequin du Carel) and for Laura Kraut was 63.22 seconds accompanied by 10-year-old gelding Constable II (Harley VDL x Lupicor), while Chloe Reid also entered within the points, occupying the ninth place with the 10-year-old gelding TNT Explosive (Tinka’s Boy x Calypso II) in 64.19 seconds.
For Latino Ranking the Brazilian Cassio Rivetti registered a time of 63.73 seconds, which would finish in seventh place along with the 9-year-old stallion Ulahop Boy (Van de Fetan x Kannan) owned by Van Dijck J&F, to add 20 FEI Ranking Points.
