Emanuel Andrade leads the Hermès Young Rider Award and the Suncast 1.50m Championship Jumper Classic Series.

There is no doubt that the rider Emanuel Andrade from Venezuela has become one of the most effective riders in recent years at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, getting to highlight in several of the most important Rankings of the American event, where he has included twice the Best rider of the season (Overall Rider) at the WEF in 2013 and 2014.

Last year’s winner of the Hermès Young Rider Award, which recognizes the best young rider of the season and since the second week of activities in 2017, Andrade has been at the head of the same table with a total of 353 points, Irish Daniel Coyle winner of the first Grand Prix of the 2017 WEF season with accumulated 313 points in second place and British Emily Moffitt with 218 points marching third, after 7 qualifying events.

He also leads the Suncast 1.50m Championship Jumper Classic Series, where there have already been two qualifying events to accumulate 71 points, followed by the winner of the second leg series Meredith Michael-Beerbaum of Germany with 65 points and the French Marie Hecart followed in third with 63 points. The previous two years the Suncast Series was dominated by Irish riders, after Darragh Kenny took the distinction in 2015 and Shane Sweetnam did it in 2016.

Although there is a lot of season ahead (10 weeks), Emanuel Andrade also participates in the Hollow Creek Farm Under 25 Grand Prix Series, where he marches third very close to Lillie Keenan and Lucas Porter, first and second in that classification.

For this 2017 the different ranking that fights the Venezuelan to date, become new challenges for his career as he has achieved in previous years not only the greatest distinction of the WEF recognized as the Overall Rider of the season in 2013 and 2014, Has also achieved the titles of best Junior Rider in 2013 and 2014, best High Amateur Jumper in 2016 and Medium Amateur Jumper in 2015 and 2016.
