With a lead of three seconds the Italian Emanuele Gaudiano scored his second win of the week in the CSI4* Liverpool, totaling three class so far won by the Italian representatives, beating the winner of yesterday William Funnell of Great Britain with a comfortable margin in the Equerry Horse Feeds 1.45m.
The velocity factor for the cup in dispute Gaudiano over the 13-years old mare Cocshynsky (Cornet Obolensky x Popcorn) owned by Equita property Kft marked a time of 54.08 seconds getting 50 world ranking points towards the top spot, while Funnell with the horse Billy Angelo (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Kroongraaf), 13-years old gelding owned by Mrs. J. Slade followed in second place with time of 57.07 seconds.
The fight remained in the top four places when the Swede Peder Fredricson and the horse H&M Sibon (Sibon W x Baloubet du Rouet) owned by Astrid Ohlin, slate marked a time of 57.44 seconds to stand on the podium awards as the third in the competition, leaving the Irishman Billy Twomey in the fourth place with the horse Ardcolum Duke (Duke Gypsy x Clover Hill) a 12-year old stallion owned by Joe Flynn just five hundredths of a second in 57.49 seconds above Fredricson.
To close the top five of the day in the cup was disputed the British Robert Smith completed his court in 59.67 seconds, lowering the barrier latest models in 60 seconds with the 9-years old gelding Cimano E (Unaniem x Chemnitz).
