A great day for Mexican rider Eugenio Garza, who added his third 2017 FEI victory to solidly dominate the CSK 3* Arnhem BKC Prijs to take 50 World Ranking Points.
Trying luck on European soil, quickly paid off the young Mexican talent who has become the future generation of Mexican show jumping, currently occupying World Ranking 129th, achieved a resounding victory by stopping the clock in 37.11 seconds with the 16-year-old gelding Bariano (Jetset-D x Skippy) owned by David & Monica Garza, for a very disputed jump-off between 11 classified riders.
Posing definitive numbers with his time, Eugenio Garza reached his seventh FEI victory, being the first of four double clear rounds that finished the class with 74 pairs in a course designed by Henk Linders of The netherlands, being escorted by Wout-jat Van Der Schans from the Netherlands too, registering a time of 37.99 seconds with the 14-year-old gelding Capetown (Oklund x Carlino), for third place Julia Houtzager-kayser of Austria in 38.62 seconds along with the 13-year-old stallion Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z (Caretano Z x Cor de la Bruyere) and Dutch rider Lisa Nooren with last double clear in fourth place next to the 10-year-old gelding Hocus Pocus de Muze (Tinka’s Boy x For Pleasure) in 39.52 seconds.
For the Latino Ranking led by the winner Eugenio Garza, also had the participation of Mexican Ernesto Canseco finishing in 57th with 13 fouls and Brazilian rider Yuri Mansur retired. On the other hand from the Pan American Ranking the young American rider Chloe Reid managed to score points in the seventh place with the 10-year-old mare Sally 643 (Salito x Werther).
