German rider Felix Hassman took a comfortable win at the CSI 3* Grand Prix von Spangenberg, after taking a 3-second lead in the jump-off lead against compatriot Michael Kölz.
Scoring a time of 43.54 seconds Felix Hassman with the 12-year-old stallion Cayenne WZ (Claudio x Ramirado), they secured in the course designed by Marco Hesse, a total of 80 World Ranking Points in a class that distributed € 80,000 between the 12 best ranked.
The tiebreaker with 5 riders classified and led by Felix Hassman was followed by German riders to fourth place with Michael Kölz taking second place in 46.54 seconds with the 19-year-old mare Daria 46 (Lavall I x Duder II), followed by Jörne Sprehe with the 11-year-old stallion Stakki’s Jumper (Stakkato Gold x Gouverneur) in 47.03 seconds and fourth place was Harm Lahde with the 11-year-old gelding Larry 210 accumulating 4 fouls in time of 47.82 seconds.
By the Latino Ranking Joao Victor Castro of Brazil obtained its classification to the jump-off, but it demolished a pole totalizing 4 faults in 49.13 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Quentin PJ (Quidam of Revel x Shield 19), to take 50 World Ranking Points.
