The Mexican rider Francisco Pasquel wore at home to win the first class of the CSI3* Gran Premio Banorte week, dominating the Two Phases.
With a total of 31 pairs encouraging the course designed by Anderson Lima de Moura from Brazil, Francisco Pasquel with the 10-year-old gelding Naranjo (Robin II Z x Quappa) stopped the clock in 24.73 seconds to secure 50 World Ranking Points and third 2017 FEI victory.
Involved some of the best Mexican international riders, the world number 225 Francisco Pasquel left all in the family to be escorted into second place by Patricio Pasquel and his 8-year-old stallion Pomerol (Vivaldi du Seigneur x Corrodo I), completing the two phases in 25.44 seconds to represent him 45 World Ranking Points.
Ranked among the top five maintained a strong struggle for Francisco Pasquel, finishing third by fellow Mexican Gonzalo Azcarraga with 13-year-old stallion Zalerno (Berlin x Espri) in 25.95 seconds, followed in fourth place by Patricio Pasquel appearing with his second horse, being now his time of 26.21 seconds with the 8-year stallion Tulum (Chacco Blue x Captain Paul I) and fifth getting important World Ranking Points by Juan Manuel Luzardo from Uruguay completing his course in time of 26.63 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Quitando (Quality x Duidams Rubiu).
