Belgian rider Francois Jr Mathy completed a solid jump-off round in the Prize de MS Direct Group AG dispute at CSI5* St. Gallen, to take 50 World Ranking points with the first position next to 9-year-old stallion Casanova de l’ Herse (Ugano Sitte x Kashmir van Schuttershof) owned by Ingrid Norman.
With 42 pairs in the Cup, a total of 13 combinations classified to the tiebreaker, 3 of them would not return and the 10 remaining would complete their double clear rounds. Francois Jr Mathy achieved an unbeatable time of 36.61 seconds to beat the fasted Irish rider Bertram Allen and the 9-year-old stallion Dino W (Berlin x L’amour Z), being 44 centimes second the difference.
For the third place Aldrich Cheronnet of France recorded a time of 37.60 seconds with the 10-year-old gelding Tanael des Bonnes (Watch Me* hoy x Don Pierre), followed in fourth place by the Swedish Angelie von Essen next to 12-year-old mare Cochella (Cartani x Lord) and Belgian Gregory Wathelet closed the top five by stopping the clock in 38.74 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Mjt Nevados S (Calvados Z x Romualdo).
No chance of points were the representatives of Latino Ranking and all from Brazil with Eduardo Menezes being the more closest in 17th place, completing a field of 4 fouls in 66.41 seconds with the 11-year-old mare Market Irminka (Irco Mena x Tinka’s Boy). On the other hand Pedro Muylaert totaled 8 faults to finishing in the 30th position, Joao Victor Castro with the same number of takedowns was 34th and finally Yuri Mansur with 12 faults finished in 38th place.
