The Swiss amazone Frédérique Fabre Delbos shone at home to win the €25,000 Prix at Chatillon, representing her first 2017 FEI victory.

Being currently world number 1,078 Frédérique Fabre Delbos had a memorable day, after she managed to add the ninth FEI victory in her career in an effective jump-off, where she lacked little to score a 3-second lead against her closest rival.

Introducing Frédérique Fabre Delbos with the 16-year-old gelding Nirvana Basters (Rosire x Iris Landai), completed their jump-off round in 37.73 seconds securing 50 World Ranking points, registering the first of three double clear round that completed the class, beating Tina Deuerer of Germany with Chanoc who holds second place in 40.15 seconds.

The top five finishers were Walter Gabathuler of Switzerland in third place with the last double clear round in 43.16 seconds appearing with Silver Surfer 2, followed in fourth place by the best seed of the class and world number 11 Martin Fuchs of Switzerland accumulating 4 fouls in 38.63 seconds next to Victoria and fifth place also Swiss rider Anthony Bourqueard with Indiana des Abattes CH in 4 fouls and 38.86 seconds.

The course designed by Gerard Lachar had 60 pairs participating in the regular round, qualifying 15 riders to the jump-off round led by the great performance of Frédérique Fabre Delbos.
