The Italian rider Gianni Govoni was able to add a new victory at home, after dominating the Gold Tour Grand Prix that distributed €25,400 in prize.
With two rounds to determine the winner, Govoni with 14-year-old mare Winn Winn (Chin Chin x Wagenaar) recorded a time of 35.89 seconds to earn 50 World Ranking points in the first place and beating the Belgian Olivier Philippaerts with 9-year-old stallion Ikker (Ogano Sitte x Up to Date) who completed their field in 37.35 seconds, while third place was for the Dutch rider Lisa Nooren with 11-year-old stallion VDL Groep Sabech d’Ha (Qredo de Paulstra x Talent Platiere) in 37.42 seconds. Completed the Top 5 Roger Yves Bost of France in the fourth place in a time of 37.46 seconds with the 11-year-old mare Sangria du Coty (Quaprice Boimargot Quincy x Muguet du Manoir) and fifth position was the Italian Bruno Chimirri to got a time of 38.20 seconds with 10-year-old stallion Tower Mouche (Diamant de Semilly x Bleu Blanc Rouge II).
For the Latin Ranking Rene López from Colombia and José María Larocca from Argentina, both scored World Ranking points. For Rene López his performance took him to occupy the sixth place with 10-year-old mare Twig du Velillon (Diamant of Semilly x Tornado d’Hotot) in 39.40 seconds, while Larocca it did in 42.47 seconds with 13-year-old stallion Cornet du Lys (Cornet Obolensky x Champion du Lys) to finished in the ninth place.
