Opening the week CSI 3* in Opglabbeek, Belgium and house rider Gregory Wathelet undertook to ensure victory in speed class with 74 participants and Prijs Ashford Farm in dispute with the world ranking points.
A total of 50 world ranking points Wathelet was carried to the top riding the 12-years-old stallion Quasi Modo Z (Querlybet Hero x Quidam De Revel) owned by the rider, to stop the clock at 63.95 seconds taking a relatively comfortable lead.
For the second and best representative of Latino Ranking and Pan American Ranking was the Mexican Santiago Lambre who is credited with 45 world ranking points performing with the 9-years-old gelding Bond Lover (Balou Du Rouet x Cento) owned by Gestüt Lewitz in time of 66.85 seconds, providing a good start week with his result.
Latino performances were not limited in highlighting second place, also escorting Lambre in the third was the Brazilian Yuri Mansur and Babylotte (Dollar Du Murier x Concorde), a 10-years-old mare owned by Mansur and Euro Stables, making its route in time of 67.83 seconds.
Either points completed the Canadian Karina Aziz in 19th place, the Mexican Federico Fernandez in box 24th with 4 fouls, Brazilian Adir Abreu in place 33th, US Clementine Goutal at 36th and Catherine Pasmore in 44th, Brazilian Luiz Felipe de Azevedo in the 47th place, Luiz Francisco de Azevedo in 50th and Marlon Módolo Zanotelli at 54th, closing US Reed Kessler on 60th and position 63th to Randy Sherman.
