The third day of CSI 5* Longines Jumping International of La Baule in France, was won in its closing class by Belgian rider Gudrun Patteet with 11-year-old gelding Sea Coast Atlantic (Schilling x Aramos de La Cense) owned by Sea Coast Horse-Gudrun Patteet.
With 52 pairs in the regular round of €25,050 Prix Groupe Barrière, Gudrun Patteet took 50 World Ranking points with her victory, with a time of 37.29 seconds in the tiebreaking round. With a total of 9 classified in the decisive round, the second place went to Frenchwoman Marie Hecart next to 10-year-old gelding Kenwood Delle Lame (Emilion x Riverman) registering a time of 38.13 seconds, followed in third place by Emanuele Gaudiano of Italy in 38.20 seconds with 11-year-old stallion Caspar 232 (Berlin x Padrazo 2), while the last double clear round was of the Frenchwoman Adeline Hecart in 39.51 seconds with 14-year-old gelding Pasha du fue (Dollar Dela Pierre x Darco).
The representatives of Latino Ranking were not in their best day, being in the 28th place Pedro Veinss from Brazil the most outstanding, with accumulated 8 faults in 74.09 seconds with 13-year-old stallion Quabri de L Isle (Kannan X Socrate de Chivre). Rene López of Colombia totaled 12 fouls in 39th place with 13-year-old gelding Con Dios III (Colman x Romino) and José María Larocca of Argentina was placed in 47th position with 13-year-old stallion Cornet du Lys (Cornet Obolensky x Champion du Lys) in a grand total of 17 fouls.
With respect to Pan American Ranking, Jaclyn Duff of Canada was ranked 11th and taking FEI ranking points, exceeding the allowed time of regular round to be penalized with 1 foul next to 11-year-old gelding Eh All or None (Abke X Grannus).
