Belgian rider Gudrun Patteet scored the fastest time of €25,000 Prijs Transport van de Poel and dominated the second day at CSI3* Zandhoven.
With the participation of 51 pairs on course designed by Belgium’s Eddy Geysemans, Gudrun Pattet managed to add a new 2017 FEI victory, after stopping the clock in 68.60 seconds alongside the 9-year-old mare Sea Coast B52 FZ (Bamako De Muze x Quidam of Revel).
Gudrun Patteet secured 50 World Ranking Points beating Titouan Schumacher of France, who recorded a time of 70.36 seconds with the 10-year-old stallion Atome Z (Amadeus Z* brimbelles x Toulon), completing the top five ranked home riders with Jos Verlooy in third place alongside 11-year-old gelding Gaston van T Steentje (Action-breaker x Heartbreaker) in 70.78 seconds, fourth place for Christophe Vanderhasselt with the 9-year-old mare Identity Vitseroel (Ari Jordan Z x Darco) in time of 71.40 seconds and fifth place for Gilles Dunon in 71.42 seconds next to 12-year-old gelding Fou de Toi VD Keihoeve (Toulon x Melkior Du Montois).
For Latino Ranking the ranking leader Pedro Veniss of Brazil finished sixth with the 11-year-old mare Sun Flower du Theil (Allegreto x Quidam de Revel), completing his field in 71.66 seconds. Very close to take points was the Colombian rider Mark Bluman finishing in 17th place with the 10-year-old stallion Wildfire (Quidam de Revel) totaling 4 faults in 71.07 seconds and Brazilians Cassio Rivetti with the 8-year-old stallion Dayton Sitte (Ogano Sitte x Clinton) ranked 21 and Pedro Muylaert with the 10-year-old stallion Prince Royal Z MFS in 24th place, also completed 4-foul rounds.
