The speed class at CSI 4* San Giovani was dominated by Frenchman Harold Boisset achieving an unbeatable time of 58.70 seconds with 10-year-old mare T’Obetty du Domaine (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Diams du Grasset) with which he won on April 6 at CSI 3* Cagnes-Sur-Mer.
Exceeding an extensive group of 71 pairs that encouraged the speed competition, Boisset took 50 World Ranking Points in a class that distributed 25,000 Euros, being escorted in second place by Belgian Constant van Paesschen and 10-year-old gelding Compadre Van de Helle (Casall x Concerto II) in time of 59.64 seconds, while completing the Top 5 classified Adrien Rouchon of France with Scala des Champs (Ideal of La Loge x Kannan) in third place and Germans Simone Blum with DSP Alice (Askari x Landrebell) and Hans-Dieter Dreher with Goodtimes van’t Lozerhof (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Chatman) in fourth and fifth place each.
By the Latino Ranking Argentine Jose Maria Larocca managed to add 20 FEI Ranking Points, finishing in 7th place with 10-year-old mare Hilary van T Paradijs (Carabas V / D Wateringhoeve x Malito de Reves) in a time of 62.38 seconds. Also competing for PanAm Ranking Canadian Karina Aziz in 12th place with Dutch Cinda Alda Z (Dutch Capitol x Silbersee) and US rider Justin Resnik far away in 61st position with Carismo Z (Carthage x Galant de la Cour).
