The French rider Harold Boisset added the first week victory of CSI2* Oliva to dominate the speed class conformed by 55 pairs.
Under course design by Christian Wiegand, Frenchman Harold Bosseit took the first FEI event of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour Oliva Nova week, but he reached the 26th FEI victory of his professional career and tenth of 2017 with today’s result, after stopping the clock in 59.38 seconds.
Being the only rider to lower the 60-second barrier, Harold Boisset was accompanied by the 10-year-old mare T’Obetty du Domaine (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Diams du Grasset) owned by Monsieur Bertrand Barascud.
For the second place Belgian rider Constant van Paesschen with the 10-year-old gelding Compadre van de Helle (Casall x Concerto II), completed his field in 63.48 seconds, being distant from the winner, but enough to beat the Latino Ranking Leader Pedro Veniss of Brazil, who presented with the 11-year-old mare Anaya Ste Hermelle (Andiamo x Paladin des Ifs) owned by Elevage Ste Hermelle and to mark in the blackboard a time of 65.24 seconds to take 40 World Ranking Points.
Completed the top five Spanish rider Imma Roquet Autonell finishing in fourth place with the 10-year-old mare Ilanta Del Maset (Indret Del Maset) in 66.63 seconds and fifth was Irish rider Trevor Coyle accompanied by 9-year-old gelding Usky des Islots (Opium of Talma x Quidam of Revel) in 67.43 seconds.
The Latino Ranking representatives commanded by they leader Pedro Veniss in third place also had the participation of Ecuadorian rider Ana Carolina Sandoval and Brazilian rider Caio Carvalho Filho, but both opted to retire.
