Harry Charles of Great Britain completed a fasted round to claim victory in the third day of CSI3* Vilamura, achieving a small advantage.
The speed class with 30 pairs had as main protagonist to Harry Charles with its 10-year-old gelding Control (Wender R x Iroko), stopping the clock in 64.92 seconds and taking advantage of 50 hundredths of seconds, that were worth 50 World Ranking Points.
For the second place French Adeline Hecart completed her field in 65.42 seconds with the 13-year-old mare Question d’Orval (Rosire x Tu Viens Dorval), while third place was taken by Irish Jeremy Sweetnam, yesterday’s class winner, but in this opportunity it registered a time of 66.20 seconds with the 10-year-old gelding Sir Landal Joter (Singular Joter x Landadel).
The top five finishers were completed by Frenchwoman Marie Hecart in fourth place with the 9-year-old mare Upsilone de La Roque (Kannan x Clinton) in 67.27 seconds and fifth place Duarte Romao of Portugal in 67.40 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Upercut d’Ajon (Diamant de Semilly x Natif de Corday).
By the Latino Ranking Felipe Ramos Guinato of Brazil finished in 20th place, leaving no chance to score points alongside the 8-year-old stallion Basque Vasco de Gamas (Nartago x Thurin) in a field of 4 fouls and 75.55 seconds. For his part the Dominican Rogelio Pellerano accompanied by the 9-year-old gelding Ushuaia of La Roque (Lauxley of Brief x Hand In Glove) was eliminated.
