Dutch rider Henk van de Pol took the first victory in the CSI5* FEI World Cup Jumping – Arab League – Emirates Equestrian Club Dubai, in a Two Phases class.
The class that counted with 33 pairs participation on course designed by British Robert Ellis, had as main figure Dutch rider Henk van de Pol with his 8-year-old gelding Looyman Z (Numero One x Wellington), completing his Two Phases in time of 30.88 seconds.
After securing 50 World Ranking Points with his victory Henk van de Pol and first 2018 FEI conquest, he overtook Portuguese rider Luis Sabino Goncalves who finishing second with the 13-year-old gelding Acheo di San Patrignano (Ephebe for Ever x Nadir di San Patrignano) in 31.06 seconds, while third place finished in the power of French rider Jean Francois Rondoux accompanied by the 13-year-old mare Really LS la Silla (Chapultepec la Silla x Ramiro Z) in time of 31.36 seconds.
Completed the best classifieds in the first CSI5* Dubai class, the only representative of Pan American Ranking Alice Debany Clergy of the United States of America, completing her field in 32.13 seconds with the 13-year-old mare Amareusa S (Baloubet du Rouet x Le Mexico) occupying the fourth place and fifth was Khaled Abdulrahman Almobty of Saudi Arabia with the 11-year-old mare Zypern (Landos x Caretino) in 32.36 seconds.
