The second day of the CSI 5* Gothenburg brought a lot of satisfaction to the audience, when house representatives finished one-two in the Volvo Trophy dispute, led by Henrik von Eckermann.
Taking 50 World Ranking points with the victory, von Eckermann was presented with the 12-year-old stallion Little Lord 90 (Lasino x Calato) owned by Federico Fernandez (mex) & Paola Am, recording a time of 59.00 seconds, being the speed class. Being the only rider who managed to lower the 60-second barrier, Malin Baryard-Johnsson was second in rank for the Swedish one-two with the 9-year-old mare H&M Second Chanse (Carland x White Clover) owned by Margareta Eriksson-Bech & Eva Söder, to mark a time of 60.58 seconds on the blackboard.
For the top five ranked the list was integrated in the third place by the German Marcus Ehning and the 11-year-old mare Cristy (Canturo x Landlord) in time of 60.69 seconds, followed in the fourth place by Werne Muff of Switzerland next to 8-year-old gelding Escoffier (Lord Z x Number One) recording 60.90 seconds, while the fifth position was taken by Irishman Denis Lynch with Ho Go Van de Padenborre (Darco x Chin Chin) in 61.24 seconds.
