German rider Holger Wulschner dominated the CSI4* Grand Prix Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden, to complete the one-two for home riders alongside Philip Rüping, where the winner took €5,000 plus a car.
Frank Rothenberger designed a 36-pairs field with a total of 9 riders qualified for the tiebreaker, with Holger Wulschner’s fast-paced 9-year-old mare Catch Me T (Contagion x Werther) in 45.39 seconds, which would be unbeatable for the rest of the classified. With his result the German rider took 100 World Ranking points.
The German one-two continued with Philip Rüping assembling a time of 46.36 seconds with the ten-year-old stallion Messenger (Montender x Baloubet du Rouet) in second place, while the young American rider Lillie Keenan, seized the third place together To the 11-year-old gelding Super Sox (Salito x Silvio I), with which she won two days ago, being the most outstanding of the Pan American Ranking adding to her account of the month 70 FEI Ranking points. Irish Olympic medalist Cian O’Connor finished fourth with 11-year-old stallion Good Luck (Canturo x Furioso Ii) in 47.02 seconds.
