The continuation of CSI 3* Mannheim week at Germany, was won by home rider Holger Wulschner in the Maimarkt-Championat von Mannheim / Preis der Mannheimer Ausstellungs-GmbH, getting the best time of the tiebreaker.
Under Germany’s Chista Jung course design, a total of 49 pairs encouraged the regular round, giving way to 17 qualifiers who were dominated by Holger Wulschner when stopping the clock in 41.98 seconds being the first of 12 riders who completed their double clear rounds. Introduced with 14-year-old gelding BSC Cavity (Caretino x Lansing), the winner took 50 World Ranking points, gaining a close advantage of 1 second against Swiss Werner Muff and 9-year-old gelding Daimler (Canturano x Lupicor ), who occupied second place to represented 45 World Ranking points in time of 42.80 seconds. The Top 5 were completed by three German riders with Simone Blum in third place with 10-year-old mare DSP Alice (Askari x Landrebel) in 43.19 seconds, fourth place for Johannes Ehning with 9-year-old stallion Contino 57 (Colmander X Contender) in 43.88 seconds and fifth place was Markus Renzel in company of 11-year-old gelding Cato 68 (Chequille x Ratsherr) in a time of 44.30 seconds.
For Latino Ranking Mexican rider Enrique González got his pass to the jump-off, then finished with the last double clear round in the 12th place, along with 10-year-old mare Chacna (Chacco-Blue x Narew XX) and thus add World Ranking points.
