British rider Jamie Wingrove repeated his victory at CSI2* Oliva Nova, dominating the €24,600 Gold 4 – 2Ph in 33.27 seconds.
The large class that had the participation of 68 pairs on course designed by Austrian Franz Madl had the main role of British Jamie Wingrove, who dominated with the 11-year-old gelding Bart VI (Lord Z x Levantos) owned by Helen Rees ls class, which allowed him to secure 50 World Ranking Points.
Winner in the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour – Autumn MET 2017 circuit, Jamie Wingrove led the class with a clear advantage against the Irish rider Michael Duffy with his 11-year-old stallion Efs Top Contender (Lauriston x Continue) to finished in 35.30 seconds.
For third place Kim Kristensen from Denmark recorded a time of 35.73 seconds with the 8-year-old gelding Albert K (Heartbeat x Quidam de Revel), while completing the Top 5 Lance Whitehouse of Great Britain in fourth place accompanied by the 15-year-old gelding Vik II (Cantos) in 36.18 seconds and fifth place was for also British Tim Stockdale with the 10-year-old gelding Tornado des Monts (Flipper d’Elle x Narcos II) in 36.54 seconds.
By Latino Ranking its leader Pedro Veniss of Brazil did not manage to pass of first phase, where it demolished a pole to totalize 4 faults next to his 11-year-old mare Sun Flower du Theil (Allegreto x Quidam de Revel), registering a time of 50.10 seconds in 28th place.
