Polish rider Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski shone at home to open the CSI3* Cavalia Poznan 2017, dominating the jump-off round.
With 13 riders qualifying for the jump-off on course designed by Andrea Colombo of Italy, the home rider Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski set the pace with the 8-year-old mare Chacclana (Chacco-Blue) and stopped the clock in 34.98 seconds to take the first World Ranking points of the week.
Securing 50 FEI Ranking Points by Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski, he overcame a complicated group that maintained his victory aspirations very close to the Polish, finishing in second place Christophe Vanderhasselt of Belgium in 35.34 seconds with the 9-year-old mare Identity Vitseroel (Air Jordan Z) and third place was Christian Kukuk of Germany completed in 35.49 seconds his jump-off round, accompanied by the 10-year-old stallion Limonchello NT (Lord Caletto).
