The second day of the CSI 3* Jumping International Vichy 2017 again had a home rider as the main protagonist with the hung Jean Luc Mourier’s victory in the €25,000 Prix Biron TP.
Taking a time of 65.59 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Souvienstoi Lariviera (Couler Rubin x Socrate De Chivre), Jean Luc Mourier led the French one-two to add 50 World Ranking Points with his win and almost 4 seconds before his fellowman and yesterday’s winner Edward Levy with the 12-year-old Rafale D’Hyverniere (Chef Rouge x Le Plantero), who completed their tour in 69.14 seconds.
For third place and improving a position with respect to the yesterday’s results, was the Portuguese rider Mario Wilson Fernandes next to the 10-year-olg gelding Fidelio des Nauves (Fidelio Du Thot x Socrate De Chivre), registering a time of 69.89 seconds .
The Latino Ranking has the Colombian rider Rene Lopez, obtaining the last available place to add World Ranking points in box 16th, being penalized with 3 fouls to exceed the time allowed for the course designed by Frenchman Jean-Francois Gourdin, at complete his round in 97.13 seconds accompanied by the 13-year-old gelding Con Dios III (Colman x Romino).
