The penultimate day of the CSI5* Olympia London International Horse Show finished with total control of the home riders led by John Whitaker.
With a clear dominance in the jump-off round of €25,000 The Ivy Stakes by the British, John Whitaker with 15-year-old stallion Argento (Arko III x Gasper) completed the course designed by Guilherme Jorge in 33.17 seconds, adding 50 World Ranking Points.
Escorted John Whitaker to complete the one-two-three British Ben Maher with 10-year-old mare Madame X (Continio x Corland) in 34.14 seconds and the third box was occupied by Laura Renwick with her 9-year-old mare MHS Washington (Obos Quality x Cavalier Royale) in 35.39 seconds, also representing the last double clear round of the class.
They followed in the final order and completing the participants of the tiebreaker in fourth place Kevin Staut of France, who continued adding good FEI Ranking points, being his round of 4 fouls in 34.90 seconds with the 9-year-old mare S & L Through the Looking Glas (Arkan x Hairos). For fourth place was Malin Baryard-Johnsson of Sweden marked a time of 34.99 seconds with the 9-year-old mare H&M Indiana (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Animo’s Hallo) and fifth Swiss gold olympic medal Steve Guerdat with the 8-year-old gelding Venard de Cerisy (Open Up Semilly x Djalisco du Guet), accumulating the same 4 fouls in 36.36 seconds.
For the two-time US Olympic medalist and only representative of the Pan-American Ranking Laura Kraut, she was placed again within the points in 14th place with 4 fouls regular round next to the 11-year-old gelding Deauville S (Diamant de Semilly x Lux Z) .
